Sumery Libra IDE plugin license
End User License Agreement · Version 1.0 · Effective 30 September 2026
This End User License Agreement (the “Agreement”) is concluded between you (“You”) and Sumery (防城港上思希曼科技工作室, the “Developer”) with respect to the Sumery Libra IDE plugins: Sumery Libra — Coding Time for Visual Studio Code and its forks, and Sumery Libra - Coding Time for JetBrains IDEs (together, the “Plugin”). By installing or using the Plugin, You accept this Agreement.
1. Parties
The Developer is the licensor of the Plugin. JetBrains s.r.o., Microsoft Corporation, the Eclipse Foundation and any other operator of a marketplace through which You obtain the Plugin are not parties to this Agreement, and do not provide any warranty or support for the Plugin.
2. Grant of license
The Developer grants You a limited, worldwide, non-exclusive, non-transferable, royalty-free license to install and use the Plugin, including any updates the Developer makes generally available, in accordance with its documentation and this Agreement. The Plugin is a Free Plugin: there is no fee, no subscription and no time limit.
3. Restrictions
You may not sell, sublicense or rent the Plugin, remove its notices, or represent it as your own. You may inspect, decompile and modify the Plugin for Your own use and for security review, but You may not distribute a modified Plugin under the Sumery or Libra names.
4. What the Plugin records
The Plugin records the time at which You edit code, the name of the IDE and the root directory of the open project. It writes this to a file on Your own computer (~/.orea/ide-heartbeats.jsonl, or $OREA_HOME). It does not record file names, file contents, programming language, window titles or keystrokes, and it makes no network connections. Collection can be switched off at any time in Libra or by libra --set ide-plugin=off. No data leaves Your machine through the Plugin.
5. Intellectual property
The Plugin is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. The Developer retains all title, copyright and other rights in the Plugin.
6. Disclaimer of warranty
THE PLUGIN IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, THE DEVELOPER DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. THE DEVELOPER DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE PLUGIN IS ACCURATE, UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE, OR THAT DEFECTS WILL BE CORRECTED.
7. Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, THE DEVELOPER SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY DIRECT, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR SPECIAL DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THE USE OF THE PLUGIN. BECAUSE THE PLUGIN IS FREE, THE DEVELOPER’S AGGREGATE LIABILITY UNDER THIS AGREEMENT SHALL NOT EXCEED ZERO. MARKETPLACE OPERATORS HAVE NO LIABILITY, AS THEY ARE NOT PARTIES TO THIS AGREEMENT.
8. Termination
This Agreement remains in force until terminated. It terminates automatically if You breach it. You may terminate it at any time by uninstalling the Plugin. Sections 5 to 9 survive termination.
9. Governing law
This Agreement is governed by the laws of the People’s Republic of China, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Nothing in this Agreement limits consumer rights that cannot be waived under the law of Your country of residence.
